Artspire is currently seeking artists in three areas. Consider submitting your work,
as well as sharing this opportunity with other artists or arts organizations.

Artists/Vendors for the Artspire Fair and Sale: Application Deadline January, 31st, 2020
Performing Artists & Entertainers: Application Deadline April 1st, 2020
Public Arts Project: Application Deadline May 1st, 2020

Artspire Art Fair & Sale

The Artspire Art Fair & Sale is held on King street, just outside the Pump House, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. With an anticipated crowd size of 10,000, the Art Fair provides an excellent opportunity to showcase pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, digital art, metal, leather, wood, sculptures, mixed media, drawings, and more.

In recognition to their work, three artists will receive the Hale-Skemp Artist Award, totally more than $1,500.

Participating artist are accepted via an online application and a jury process.

Application deadline is January 31st, 2020.

To apply, complete the online application process and submit the $15 jury fee.

Performing Artists & Entertainers

Artspire will feature four stages, providing non-stop entertainment. We are seeking performers and entertainers including, but not limited to: cultural and modern dancing, musical & instrumental performances, theater, literary arts and storytelling.

Artspire Public Art Project

The Artspire Public Art Project creates a unique opportunity for La Crosse to publicly showcase our area’s talented artists, and enliven our public places with enriching and inspire content. This project seeks to engage the various interests of our diverse community and prompt vital interactions and connections through art.

Work selected by our jury will be unveiled during Artspire, and then be displayed at La Crosse City Hall and remain on display for one year.

Winning artists will not only have their work displayed in a highly visible, public area, but each winner will receive a $200 award, and a ribbon for their work. 

 Application deadline is May 1st, 2020.
